Introductory remarks

This outlay is aimed at physiotherapists, gymnastics and sports teachers, neurologists and other medical professionals involved, as well as interested parties of all kinds.

The subject is not easy to master and requires a high level of personal commitment.  Sufficiently familiar with the subject allows to study on your on, otherwise it is better to start with competent guidance. Avoiding injuries is the top priority in all training. The most challenging difficulties to overcome arise likely right at the beginning, when there is little or no experience, unrealistic expectations and/or a lack of patience to allow progress to become established.

The concept underlying this presentation is based primarily on observing the differences in mobility between the right and left sides of a single person’s body and the differences in mobility between different people. The necessary involvement of the entire body requests obviously a considerable effort.

+ Topics not addressed in the top bar

Especially in the beginning, when one has little or no experience, difficulties are hardly avoidable.

Motor skills are usually developed in the context of an activity and are not an independent subject. The motor skills are amazing, recognizable for example by the speed with which characters can be produced in handwriting. The individuality that can be observed is also astonishing. With regard to the individual indiduum, there are considerable differences in mobility (for example between the left and right side of the body), but these can be overcome through training. , including seniors, creating a basis for body training could be a helpful support. The presentation presented here is an attempt of this kind

The goal of this presentation is to provide a base for such an attempt, requiring addressing around 3,000 movements including all parts of the body and providing explanations relating to a wide range of issues.

Given the large amount of the information – requiring to address around 3000 movements and to provide explanations – is restricted to the essential, here referred to as basic body mobility (BBM).
